After the End at Green-Wood Cemetery

Brooklyn, New York
September 15 – December 6, 2021
More information

Never worked so hard, never felt so lucky to make a place I wish existed in the world. James Reeves and I made After the End, a ritual to commune around the many endings, beginnings, and new realities in our lives. Here is a trailer we made of the installation, including the original score for the space, composed by old friend Stephen Baker. I asked can you make something that sounds like both dusk and dawn. He did. Free for all to share and explore at Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn.

Our large-scale public installation for contemplating inner obstructions continues at the Mint Museum with generous support from Charlotte Center City Partners. This public ritual offers space to consider our psychological challenges during the pandemic and beyond, and it is part of the exhibit WALLS: Defend, Divide, and the Divine. Reflect on your relationship with doubt at the illuminated wall and share your doubts, fears, struggles, and courage through a growing video installation of handwritten responses in the galleries.
