For their exhibit Past Futures, Present, Futures, Storefront for Art and Architecture invited Candy and other artists, architects, writers and policy-makers to spend one day re-imagining alternative visions for the present and future of the city. In response to the 1942 document “Wartime Housing in the New York Metropolitan Area by Division of Defense Housing Coordination”, Candy re-interpreted the idea of wartime housing for the near future with an idea, an image, and an accompanying story. These present and future visions will be featured in the second opening of the show October 26, 2012. The exhibit is open Oct 6, 2012 – Jan 19, 2013. More here.
