F&F Storefront Sign

Burning brighter for people

As part of the Iconic Signage Project, Chang created an interactive neon sign for New Orleans business F&F Botanical and Candle Shop that reimagines the relationship between pedestrians and storefronts. A family-run landmark, F&F provides spiritual products, including hundreds of candles dedicated to health, financial, and relationship goals. Motion sensors in the storefront sign detect movement so that when pedestrians walk by, the neon candle on the sign flickers faster, celebrating the spirituality of the shop and more foot traffic on Broad Street.
